PURGATORY
BACKGROUND
PURGATORY is a fictitious brand that started as a market stall in a flea market and eventually expanded into the online space. This particular brand prides itself on handmade and vintage clothing, and work with artists to produce high quality clothing in an age where dropshipping and online retailers like Temu are popular.
DESIGN
I wanted to create a clothing website for punk/goth/alternative people that was reminiscent of other popular online retailers while giving it its own design and feel. While I cannot code a live HTML website, I wanted to create the feel of what screenshots from a live website would look like, including one implying interactive design. Even if it cannot be navigated to, it looks realistic enough that it could be mistaken for a website that is (or once) online.
Website design was done entirely in Figma using stock photos. The logo was inspired by cybersigil imagery, and was created in Adobe Illustrator.
